That was a beautiful 80 km. And sunny, and hot. For the first time, it was very warm. Summer is coming!

Münster-Bielefeld
A flat day of 85-90 km, with a freaking strong wind. And, no, I was not lucky for that one. A bit of a hill at the end of the day but nothing scary. Still a good day.

Bielefeld-Obberlübbe(Hille)
What a wonderful day! A bit short, 50km, but nice and warm, just enough hilly to be interesting.
Oh, Obberlübbe is a village 15 km west of Minden. Which I’m going to visit tomorrow.

The last one-cent coin, in circulation since 1858, was minted on May 4th. The coin had become a nuisance, weighing down consumers’ wallets and costing more to produce than it was worth. (via theeconomist)

Today was a nice 60 km ride. Nice if you don’t remember it was windy as hell, it rained from time to time (it was actually not that bad), and, oh, also sunny.

Just enough hills to break the monotony.

Just enough ‘Oh, did I just turn around this field?’ Yup, I did, well too bad.

Just enough ‘Did it just take me two whole hours to ride those 15 km?’ Apparently. I guess I forgot to turn somewhere.

But those two last things were pretty okay at the end, otherwise I would arrive in Münster way too early. I just wanted to ride a little bit more^^

I think I’ve never been so happy to reach a place.

So many kilometres. So many hills. So many ‘where the fuck am I suppose to go?’.

Not easy. At all. And so freaking long. I thought my knees were going to complote to kill me. Apparently not. Good thing.

When I arrived, on Sunday, the city was full of people wearing yellow celebrating the victory of their soccer team. It was crazy. Difficult to bike.

But Dortmund surprised me. A way nicer city that I thought. It’s a post-industrial city but green and alive. Probably thanks to the university.

Did I ever mention I only have three gears on my bike?

And only two works.

The first and the third. 

There’s like nothing to say about that.

It was only 40km. It was short. It was easy. It was too short. It was too easy.
